GCSA helps New York City teenagers take vital steps toward building their lives after high school. Through dynamic group activities and practical information sessions along with one on one coaching from professional mentors, the teens explore post-graduation options, build their confidence and improve their job and interview skills.

Weekly creativity and mentoring sessions with female students 12 to 18 for this alternate education program to help adolescents in crisis continue their education in a supportive community. Provided experiences to help the girls
move from heartbreak to healing.
• SWAN: Sesame Workshop Alumni Network
This three generation mental wellness initiative uses short Sesame Street segments to spark empathy, discussion and joy among seniors, young adults and preschoolers. It's goal is to help deal with the crisis of loneliness and social isolation in America.

Students
• Wrote, designed, developed and taught this health curriculum with the High Road High School staff in Somerset, NJ. for special needs and high risk students in grades 8 through 12. It includes a print curriculum, training and an interactive DVD.
Mt Vernon NY Public Schools
• Amazing Afternoons at The Edward Williams School
Co-created with Master teacher Barbara DeGeorge a variety of programs and field trip experiences for this after school program.
We reached students in grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 with writing and visual literacy skills. This is a joint project with the Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) organization and the Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC). Students build their confidence and communication skills through learning the creative skills of a filmmaker.

Designed and wrote the film center's first education curriculum and field trips for third grade educators, students and parents.

Co-created with Master animator, Joe Summerhays, the fourth grade animation program.
• Teaching and Technology in the Digital Age (TTDA)
Wrote and taught this two year professional development curriculum for K-12 educators and Library Media Specialists to help them creatively use technology with their students,

HOBBY INDUSTRY FOUNDATION
Researched and reported on the power of crafting to teach in the elementary school curriculum.
• The First PBS Cyber School
Consulted with WNET's Education Division on this national initiative to capture the excitement of the Nagano Winter Olympics and demonstrate the Internet's power and potential in education. Created the educational online materials to help educators use the Nagano Winter Olympic Games as a classroom resource. Also, consulted on departmental initiatives to bring the Education Division staff into the digital universe.
• My America: Building a Democracy
Working with Stephen Mantell and Harriet Fier the founders of New Castle Communications, Anne Marie wrote the curriculum materials for a 12 part, multi-media, social studies series for K-6 students. This includes civic literacy training videos and print materials for teachers and parents. It is available in English and Spanish.
• American Discovery
Wrote the curriculum materials and created professional development seminars for this six part, science series.
Activities are multi-disciplinary and focus on science, math, map reading, communication and cooperation skills
for K-8 students and their teachers.
• Both of these educational media resources won BOOKLIST'S Editor's Choice Award.
• I NEED THE EARTH AND THE EARTH NEEDS ME
Created this video and print package for elementary educators to use on Earth Day.. It was sent to every public and private fourth grade classroom in the country. It includes a 19 minute video cassette and Teacher’s Guide. This educational program, co-created with General Motors and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) won a CINE GOLDEN EAGLE AWARD .
• The Galaxy Classroom
Consulted on the design of video and print materials for this satellite television channel made
for the national school community.
• The Magic School Bus
Wrote, designed and budgeted the national school and community marketing and outreach program for this award-winning animated science television series . Created the prototype teaching materials for the series pilot. The series is designed to inspire positive attitudes towards science and education
• Fire Safety Public Service Announcements
Created a fire safety education initiative through public service announcements and video training packages.
• The Giraffe Project
Television consultant for a proposed Nickelodeon series to bring The Giraffe Project alive for children.
is a non-profit organization whose mission is to move people to "stick their necks out
for the common good. Created by Ann Medlock and John Graham, the Project has been telling the stories
of heroes commended as Giraffes in media, workshops, conferences, schools and youth programs since 1982.
• Writing From the Heart
Created and taught for third, fourth and fifth graders in EHTP’s After School Program. Students read their original poems
and stories at the local Barnes and Noble bookstore each Spring on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Wrote the 1990 Earth Day booklet for distribution to elementary educators throughout the country.
